I was Dallas, Texas this Summer for a business opportunity. I love Cleveland, Ohio, and I basically missed all the hoopla from the Cavaliers winning the championship. I know such an event is historic, but I’m trying to make my own history, both personally and professionally. The chance to move to another city has presented itself in various forms over the last ten years since I finished college, and I found myself too attached to my hometown.
Now, as I grow older I know that reaching your goals in whatever place and in whatever form is more important than nostalgia. I can bottle that connection I feel for a city and transfer that onto my ability to build connections elsewhere. I’ve recently moved back to Cleveland, but that spirit to explore has bit me and I certainly plan to travel much more.
Realizing your potential doesn’t come easy but it is well worth the journey. Goals don’t happen without the process of working towards them. In order to realize your potential you must embrace the process, own the process, master the process before you will ever sniff the goal.
Join me in my process of reaching my goals and reach out to me if you would like encouragement or much more.
